Private Coaching / Behavior Modification

During private coaching sessions, you will learn how to train your dog, navigate difficult situations, and resolve behavioral issues.

We meet 2-3 times a month for a 1-hour coaching session. We follow a customized training plan that is cretaed to address your dog’s specific needs. Each session includes homework instructions to complete between sessions to ensure steady progress. You get email/text support between sessions.

What to expect

Getting Started: Begins with an initial assessment to evaluate your dog, set training goals, and discuss your customized training plan.
Customized Training Plan: Tailored plans designed around your dog’s specific needs and your training goals.
Training packages: Available as single sessions or multi-session packages.
Your Commitment: 15 minutes of homework daily (easily built into mealtimes and walks).
Timeline: Behavior modification typically takes 4–12 sessions (2–6 months) held weekly or bi-weekly.
Flexible Scheduling: Sessions are available on weekdays and on weekends

Private dog training rates:

Outsource your dog’s training to a professional. I work with your dog solo several times a week. Occasionally, we hold a transfer session so you can review progress, learn hands-on handling skills, and keep the momentum going at home.

What to Expect

Session Length: 1 hour per session.
Location: Conducted at your home, on neighborhood walks, or both.
Hybrid: Options with 2/3/4xweek training walks and coaching sessions once or twice a month
Timeline: Expect results in ~1 month for basic obedience, or 2-4 months for behavior modification. Complex behavior and multiple issues may take longer.
